Welcome to Strummer Room Records, an independent record shop in Banbury, Oxfordshire, specialising in second-hand vinyl records, CDs and music for collectors and enthusiasts.

With approximately 10,000 vinyl records and CDs available, we offer a wide-ranging selection of music across rock, pop, punk, indie, alternative, soul, funk, jazz, reggae, electronic music and more.

Whether you're searching for a favourite album, a forgotten classic or something you've never heard before, there's always something worth discovering.

Our Story

Strummer Room Records began in 2018 with a small second-hand vinyl record shop above an antique emporium in Banbury's Old Town.

In February 2020, we opened a pop-up shop nearby, allowing us to expand our selection and welcome more music lovers.

We later relocated to Cherwell Business Village on Southam Road, where we continue to operate our independent record shop today.

Over the years, we've built an extensive collection of pre-owned LPs, 7-inch singles, 12-inch singles, CDs and cassettes, alongside a selection of remaining new vinyl stock.

A Passion for Music

At Strummer Room Records, we believe buying records should be about more than simply finding an album.

It's about discovering music, exploring different genres and enjoying the experience of browsing through records.

Our pre-owned stock is individually graded, and our online selection is regularly updated as more second-hand records become available.

Part of the Independent Music Community

In March 2021, we were honoured to receive the Record Store of the Month award from Record Tokens.

We've also participated in Record Store Day and remain passionate about supporting independent music, local artists and the wider record-buying community.
