Named after a casino in their hometown of Las Vegas, Sam's Town marks the mighty return of the chart-topping synth-rockers the Killers. Having conquered the charts the world over with their debut Hot Fuss, the band have given us a taster of their eagerly anticipated follow up with the first single, When You Were Young, which draws influences from Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, amongst others, for a more american sounding sophomore album. The album was produced by the legendary production team of Flood and Alan Moulder - the sound is vast, a bombastic wall of sound, devoid of subtlety and proud of it. big and bold, daft and dazzling Sam's Town is a joy.
LP - Limited edition picture disc with fold-out poster.
